The other day, I went fishing at Arrowhead Lake with my Dad and my friend Aden. I caught my first fish at Arrowhead! It was just another bluegill, though it did put up an amazing fight. It had a very light silver color, an orangey breast, and, as the name suggests, it had blue gills. It was six and a half inches, about average in North Carolina. The hook caught on the gill and we had to cut the line L I hope he survives. I used a hot dog for bait, my new zebco rod and reel (a medium action telescoping rod), eight pound test line.
